Start with what you want to see.
A front door, the driveway, a garage or another part of the property. We plan camera placement, cabling, recording and viewing together.
Our preferred starting point is a wired PoE camera system with local recording. Wi-Fi and solar options can also be discussed when cabling is not practical, including rental properties where permission may be needed.
Your quote identifies the cameras, recorder, storage, networking, cabling and installation needed for your setup. Community-specific installation offers do not apply to every property.

Where does the connection let you down?
Start with the room, device or building that is giving you trouble. We can plan Wi-Fi coverage, wired connections and links between buildings around your property and existing equipment.
Network design can include equipment placement, Ethernet cabling, remote access and separation between different types of devices where appropriate.

Tell us the model and what you would like it to do. We’ll review compatibility and the work involved before proposing a solution. The camera warranty described above requires both purchase and installation through HomeTech.
Do I have to sign up for a monthly plan?
We’ll discuss the work you need and any required ongoing services before you approve a quote. This website does not advertise a standard monthly support package. Some software, phone services or optional camera features may have recurring charges.
Do you work in my area?
HomeTech is based in Ionia, Michigan. Tell us your town and the type of property so we can confirm whether we can take on your project and discuss any site-specific requirements.
